This policy explains what whoa-app.com — the WHOA marketing website — collects when you visit it, and what we do with it. It covers this website only. The WHOA application itself, which riding centers use to manage their participants, horses and records, is a separate product governed by the agreement between WHOA and that organization; this policy does not describe it.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you fill in the demo request form, we receive the name, email address, organization name and message you type into it. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information — there are no accounts, and we take no payments here.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they arrived. It sets cookies in your browser and reports information such as your approximate location, device and browser, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. We do not use it to identify you personally.
- Server logs. Our host records ordinary web-server information, including IP addresses and requested pages, as part of running and securing the site.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry and arrange a demonstration, and we use analytics and logs to keep the site working and to decide what to write about. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Only the services that operate the site on our behalf: our web host, our email provider, and Google Analytics. Each sees only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Demo enquiries are kept for as long as we are in contact with you about WHOA, and afterwards only as long as we have a reason to. Analytics data expires on Google Analytics’ own retention schedule. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Cookies
This site sets analytics cookies through Google Analytics, and our caching layer may set a technical cookie so that pages load correctly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Write to alorenz@j25consulting.com and we will respond.
Children
This website is aimed at the people who run riding programs, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
